The series includes information on the anatomy & physiology of birth as well as nutrition and exercise to ease common pregnancy related ailments and prepare for birth. Also included are sections on labor support, the role of the birth partner, and medical intervention should medical pain or labor management be necessary. Throughout this 4-week series, we will also explore the social-emotional aspect of pregnancy, birth, and becoming a new parent — with a special focus on informed decision making, increasing self-efficacy, reconnecting with intuition and improving communication skills.

HypnoBirthing(R) and Childbirth Education
with Nina Phelan

5 – Week Sunday Afternoon Series

August 2nd – August 30th

Cost: $425 per couple

HypnoBirthing(R) is a powerful tool designed to help couples relax and trust the birth process. It is as much a philosophy of birth, as it is a technique. This amazing program teaches a woman, along with her birthing companion, the art and joy of experiencing birth in a more comfortable manner; allowing a woman to connect in to her own birthing instincts.

HypnoBirthing(R) breaks the Fear-Tension-Pain Syndrome by working directly to release conscious and subconscious fears.

Hypnosis helps:

  • take a woman into a relaxed state
  • create and control her body’s natural anesthesia
  • release fear and pain

Nina Phelan has helped support hundreds of couples through pregnancy and childbirth.
Her classes encourage women to re-discover their deep power from within, while uplifting their partners to have an active role in childbirth.

She is a certified HypnoBirthing(R) and ICEA trained Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula, Certified Lactation Educator (CLEC), Prenatal Yoga Teacher and Reiki/Energy Healer. She is also an EFT Practitioner and a sought after Mindfulness Coach.
She creates a safe haven where women and couples can reconnect to the beauty and soul-fullness of pregnancy and childbirth.
